Aurora

Aurora Aksnes (born June 15 on the 15th of June, 1996 in Stavanger) is an Norwegian artist and vocalist. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, came out in May 2015 on Decca Records to great approval from music journalists and media. Half the World Away from the band Oasis was recorded to accompany an ad campaign for John Lewis, and Nature Boy is a Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry shared a tweet where Perry promoted her song Runaway. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is when she discovered an old grand piano hidden in the attic. The piano was fascinating to her its capabilities. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. He urged her not to play music only for pleasure or to aid in growth but rather, she should take it seriously. The singer began to write her own songs. Her inspirations include famous writer Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan in addition to her love of Bjork's style. She decided to start performing her songs publicly when her mother said they could help people not gain acclaim for her work but to make the people around them understand their importance and the ways they could impact the world. She began playing the piano at the age of six, and began making music when she was 9 years old. The family members didn't know about her musical journey until she was 14. It was never a dream to become Aurora. Aurora claims she loves writing music. She believes that music can help people feel more relaxed.
