Morgan was one of the actors in the documentary film Safe Sex for Men and Women, which focuses on AIDS prevention and awareness. Proceeds from the video were donated in part towards the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is part of the entertainment industry's AIDS Task Force. Morgan is part of the Entertainment Industry's AIDS Task Group. Morgan has also led many other fundraising projects to combat AIDS and testified in front of a specially-created Congressional committee regarding AIDS Education. She also serves as a Board of Directors for Amfar and the Board of Governors of APLA. Former Surgeon-General C. Everett Koop has asked her on occasion to fill in for him during AIDS occasions and has been the host of an AIDS Awareness Special with news anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell and Morgan have appeared on Nightline two times to talk about AIDS. Morgan has been nominated by the Emmys to be a part of Diane English's Murphy Brown special written especially for Morgan. In spring, she was a guest with Joan Rivers on ABC's Your Money or Your Wife. The summer began with Murder At The PTA Luncheon which was directed by Von Zerneck/Sertner and was also co-starring Cindy Williams and Marla Gibbs. Next, she was sent to Luxembourg for the Harmony Gold's Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee also appeared in the film. Morgan also starred exclusively in the thriller on USA Network's psychological suspense that earned some of most impressive ratings this network's had.
